Flight Experience Terms and Conditions
All Flight Experience Vouchers (Vouchers) and bookings are sold subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Pricing
1.1. The price of all Vouchers advertised or displayed is subject to change at any time without notice. You will be quoted and charged for the current price of a Voucher at the time of purchase.
1.2. The price of all Vouchers is inclusive of any local taxes.
2. Bookings
2.1. To make a booking for a Flight Experience over the phone you must secure that booking by quoting the reference number on your Voucher or with a credit card.
2.2. Once a booking is made it is then subject to any cancellation or change policy. If you have secured a booking with a credit card and breach any of the cancellation or change policies, then your credit card will be charged.
2.3. You can change the day or time of any booking up to 48 hours prior to your booked time by calling the Flight Experience on 1800 737 800.
3. Payment
3.1. Payment for all Vouchers or bookings must be received in full at the time of purchase.
3.2. A booking may be secured with a credit card. If you have secured a booking with a credit card and breach any of the cancellation or change policies, then your credit card will be charged.
4. Vouchers
4.1. Vouchers can be purchased at any Flight Experience Store, by phoning the Flight Experience on 1800 737 800 or online at www.flightexperience.com
4.2. Vouchers are only redeemable at the store from which they were issued.
4.3. Vouchers are only valid for the Flight Experience described on them, however the Flight Experience can be upgraded at the time of booking by payment of the difference between the current charge for the upgraded Flight Experience and the current value of the Voucher.
4.4. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
4.5. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
5. Lost Vouchers
5.1. If a Flight Experience Voucher is lost it will not be replaced.
6. Changing Bookings, Cancellation and Refunds
6.1. Bookings can be cancelled or changed up to 48 hours prior to the booked time.
6.2. No cancellation or change will be permitted within 48 hours of the booked time for the Flight Experience. In this situation, your Voucher will be cancelled without refund.
6.3. If you do not show up for a Flight Experience and you have not changed the booking at least 48 hours prior to the Flight Experience, your Voucher or booking will be cancelled without refund.
6.4. Whilst every effort will be made to provide a DVD recording of your flight, if due to technical difficulties we are not able to provide a DVD recording, you will only be entitled to a full refund of the purchase price of the DVD.
6.5. If you have received a Voucher and you do not wish to use the Voucher, then the purchaser must return it to the Flight Experience with a covering letter explaining your request for a refund. All refunds will be at the absolute discretion of the Flight Experience and will comply with all applicable local law.
7. Admission to Flight Experience Simulator
7.1. For security purposes you must present a form of photo identification before you will be granted entry to the Flight Experience Simulator. We reserve the right to refuse you entry to the Flight Experience Simulator if you do not produce appropriate photo identification, in which case your Voucher will be cancelled and you will receive no refund.
7.2. The Flight Experience Simulator replicates the flight deck of an aircraft and requires a degree of physical mobility for entering and exiting that may not be suitable for some people. Please check with us at the time you purchase a Voucher if you have any concerns about any physical restrictions that may affect your experience.
7.3. You will be refused entry to the Flight Experience Simulator if, in our reasonable opinion, you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In this situation your Voucher will be cancelled without refund.
7.4. Bookings, unless otherwise agreed to, are for a single person flying with an instructor for the full duration and cannot be shared or split.
7.5. The minimum age for any Flight Experience is 12 years old. There is no maximum age limit.
8. Flight Experience Interruption
8.1. If the duration of your Flight Experience is reduced as a result of any of your actions, including but not limited to: your late arrival, your request for a comfort break, sickness or any physical restriction you experience in the Flight Experience Simulator, you will not be entitled to any compensation nor a refund.
8.2. If the Flight Experience Simulator encounters any technical problems that reduce the quality or duration of your Flight Experience you will receive appropriate compensation as agreed between us. All compensation will be in accordance with any applicable local law.
9. Release and Indemnity
9.1. As a condition of your purchase of a Voucher and your agreement to use the Flight Experience, you agree to release and indemnify Flight Experience Group Limited (FEGL), its franchisees and all of their employees, agents and contractors from and against all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses of whatever nature which any of them may suffer, incur or become liable to as a result of your use of the Flight Experience. You appreciate that the Flight Experience will have effects which vary with each individual. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether you are physically capable of using the Flight Experience.
9.2. The Flight Experience Simulator is intended for entertainment purposes only. Flight Experience is not an approved flight training organisation. Flight Experience does not assert any claim regarding recognised training credits regulated by flight crew licensing legislation. Compliance with airline training standards and government regulation is the responsibility of the user.
10. Personal Information
10.1. At the time of purchase or booking we may collect some personal information from you. It may be used to make offers related to the Flight Experience in the future. If you do not wish to receive these offers, then please advise us at the time of purchase or booking.
10.2. Your personal information will be treated as confidential as required by any applicable law.
